What a spectacular way to kick off the new year! As the first rays of sunlight broke over the horizon, I witnessed and captured the magnificent sight of the kai, or sea foam, delicately washing over the sandy beach, gently erasing footprints from the previous year. It was a beautiful reminder that with the start of a new year, we can leave behind what no longer serves us and begin anew.
As I gazed out at the sea, I was struck by the breathtaking display of colors that the sunrise painted across the sky. The ice-cold hues of blues and purples blended like a work of art while the tiny waves lapped against the shore in a soothing rhythm.
I wasn't the only one who had the idea to start the new year by witnessing this beautiful sight - other beachgoers had also pulled up to the shore to take in the stunning view. As the sun warmed our skin, we all felt grateful to be alive and witness such a beautiful moment on the first day of 2023.
