I took a deep breath and paused for a moment to catch my breath, after hiking through the rugged and winding red dirt hills. I looked around and saw the lush greenery of monstera vines and ti leaf plants, while the sun was shining brightly overhead. As I peered through the foliage, I was met with a breathtaking view of the Nā Pali coast. The water was so crystal clear that I could see the fishes swimming around, and it was a beautiful shade of blue that contrasted perfectly with the earthy tones of the mountains. The mountains themselves were glowing from the gleaming salt spray, which added to the beauty of the view. It was yet another stunning day on the island of Kaua’i, and I felt grateful to be there to witness it.
