I tucked myself beneath the fronds of a palm, leaning close against a napaka bush to find the perfect view. Through the leaves, coconut trees swayed gently in the breeze, while the ocean moved quietly along the shore.
The air carried the familiar scent of salt and sun-warmed sand. In the distance, the mountains faded softly into the light, almost like a memory.
For a moment, everything felt still. The palms moved, the waves breathed, and the warm island breeze passed over me. I stayed there quietly, taking it all in—one of those simple moments when you don’t need to be anywhere else.
Through my camera, the scene took on a warm sepia tone, capturing not just what I saw, but how that moment felt: peaceful, nostalgic, and completely at home.
