As I was engrossed in shelling on the beach, the sky suddenly darkened as rain clouds rolled in, casting a gloom over the landscape. Just as I was about to pack up and leave, a sliver of sunlight broke through the clouds, casting a golden hue over everything. And then, like a miracle, I looked up and saw her - Mother Nature in all her glory. A double rainbow had shot across the sky, a perfect arc of vibrant colors stretching forever.
I realized I was about 400 feet away from the perfect spot to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment, so I stopped what I was doing and sprinted down the beach and around the corner. My heart was excitedly pounding as I scrambled to get out my camera. I had just enough time to get a couple of videos and three different angle shots before the rainbow faded, disappearing into the misty distance.
This was my third time making this pilgrimage to this spot to capture a rainbow in June 2023. And as they say, the third time's the charm - this time, I had finally succeeded in capturing the magic of Mother Nature's rainbow on film.
