A fascinating sight unfolds beneath the horizon as the sun sets high at noon and darts lighting through the surface. A pile of baby mullets, small and agile fish, can be seen weaving in and out between the oncoming waves of the whitewash as they attempt to hide from the ocean predators lurking nearby. The water is calm, yet the baby mullets move with an energy that belies their small size. They swim in unison, darting back and forth as they navigate the treacherous waters near the ocean's edge. It's a captivating scene that reminds us of the beauty and complexity of nature.
