One of my most cherished spots on the island of Kaua'i is on the south shore. Recently, I was out surfing a mini-session, and the sun was beginning to set. As I gazed up at the sky, I noticed the clouds were high, light, and wispy, and I had a feeling it might turn out to be a pretty epic sunset. Without hesitation, I made my way out of the water, eager to capture the moment. The view of Waiohai/Poipu Beach, surrounded by algae-covered rocks, the tranquil ocean, and the vibrant sky, was breathtaking. The sky ignited with a fiery orange hue as the sun descended, transforming the scene into an unforgettable masterpiece. The experience left me in awe of the island's natural beauty, and I feel so grateful to have witnessed such a mesmerizing sunset.
